Our holiday experience was excellent, from the lodge to the surroundings it was a very enjoyable holiday for all our residents. The accommodation is very disabled friendly with hoists and profiling beds to comfy settees and open spaces in the lodges. The setting of the lodges is beautiful with countryside visible from all sides of the lodge and we were very lucky being able to look out on a small waterfall, it was definitely a heavenly break. Mrs P, St Helens 18 March 2011
Peaceful and well appointed. It was only a short walk over the road to the lake and there were numerous walks through the woods so our dogs had a fantastic time too! Mrs C, Darlington, County Durham 15 February 2011
A fantastic holiday, plenty room in the lodge. Mrs R, GATESHEAD, Tyne and Wear 05 September 2010
Massive lodges, ideal for wheelchairs and friendly, laid back staff. Mr D, BLAIRGOWRIE, Perthshire 12 March 2010
It was a great get away, where you could either relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings, or be active and participate in the many activities taking place. The lodge had everything you needed, like a home from home but better because of the stunning scenery. The staff were superb and we can't wait to go back! Miss W, CROOK, County Durham 08 February 2010
I have recommended it to work colleagues. It was a very different type of centre as it was for disabled people, but this was a positive for us, and we felt very much at home. It was nice to have a mix of people there, and a positive atmosphere and ethos. Mr P, ARBROATH 08 December 2009
We would definitely recommend to other holiday users who are disabled as the amenities were excellent, the adaptions to the accomodation were perfect and very easy for our disabled party member to use. Miss P, SUNDERLAND 11 November 2009
The staff were friendly, helpful and very enthusiastic. Fantastic and peaceful surroundings with plenty to do and see. Miss J, SCARBOROUGH, North Yorkshire 08 September 2009
My sister and I went on the same holiday last year, and once again we had a fantastic time in the beautiful outdoors and gorgeous cabin. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and were very disappointed when they had to leave. We also went along to the centre on site in the evening and participated in various activities and the kids had to be dragged away from the karaoke night! Thank you for a wonderful holiday once again. Mrs M, South Shields, Tyne & Wear 20 February 2009
Lodge was clean, comfortable, good facilities, great views, convenient. We will go back. Mr F, Stafford, Staffordshire 01 December 2008
I would definitely recommend it. My sister, the children and myself had an excellant holiday, the accommodation was wonderful and the staff were fantastic - very helpful indeed. The kids loved it being in the outdoors and going for long walks etc - I will definitely be going back, and other members of the family are planning on going as well when they heard how good it was. Mr W, Northampton, Northamptonshire 22 February 2008
Fabulous facilities for the disabled or able bodied. We went as a family of four with two young boys one of whom is in a wheelchair. The lodge was huge, clean and well equiped. The surroundings and facilities were exellent. Peace and quiet, but plenty to do and see locally, we loved the rabbits running freely in the grounds, and it was great to sit and relax next to the babbling brook with bird song all around - we would go again! No noise, no neon lights - just fabulous stars, fresh air and a cosy home. Mr R 18 December 2006
